What a trip check shows
Each report tells you what it is, where it was reported, which direction it affects, and when the information was last updated.
- Road conditions: ice, snow, wet pavement, visibility
- Incidents: crashes, stalled vehicles, debris, including recently cleared incidents
- Advisories: closures, lane closures, detours
- Weather: conditions at your origin and destination, with an hourly forecast available for a closer look
Wet snow and slush are reported on US-169 leaving Grand Rapids, with ice on the roadway through the middle of the route. A vehicle that spun out near mile 18 was cleared at 7:30 AM. Heavier snow, blowing snow and reduced visibility are reported approaching Virginia. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 4 PM.
